Mattan is a Screenwriter, Filmmaker, and Performer based in Los Angeles and New York City.
A two-time recipient of the prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Screenwriting Award for his work on Rosa’s War and Copycats. Rosa’s War is cycling through festivals, placing in the second round of the Austin Film Festival, while Copycats is currently undergoing revisions with science advisors.
Mattan is currently under contract to draft a TV series for a Korean production company aiming to adapt Korean webcomics to an American audience.
In 2022, Mattan graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from from the Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU Tisch. In 2015, Mattan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from UC Davis.
